cybergamut is a worldwide community of practice for cyber professionals across industry, academia, and government providing ongoing education, training, and certification opportunities throughout all phases of a cyber professional’s career, utilizing traditional methods as well as non-traditional techniques like puzzles, Easter Eggs, and problem solving.

Suit in a Cyber World

The cybergamut community of practice was established in 2008 to provide a forum for cyber professionals to share ideas and further their professional development. The founder of cybergamut is a non-technical, self-proclaimed "suit" who, having hosted more than 30 Technical Tuesday events, is prepared to share his unique perspective on current topics and issues. Geographic Nodes

Host a cybergamut Node:

(1) The location has to be open and accessible to all industry, academic, and government participants; (2) The room needs to accommodate at least 20 people or as many as reasonably are expected to show up; (3) There should be an expectation of at least five attendees at the Node; and (4) There needs to be a computer with an Internet connection, a projector and screen, and a conference phone.
